To me, nothing, NOTHING would be worth my child dying for. War, religion, geographic boundaries. There isn't any debate for me. I believe in God, whatever it may be, but war is man-made. However, the world isn't black and white. Would I choose to take out the guy gunning for me? Sure, it's survival instinct.
But this war....yeah, it's a good thing that Saddam was caught and all, but there are just more who are going to take his place and I think America is forgetting...this isn't the 30's and we aren't tanking through the walls of Auschwitz (forgive the spelling.) Some people are digging the whole "hero" aspect of this. To me, it's kind of a sick ego boost. People in America are very compassionate...the COUNTRY of America usually has an ulterior motive that is only self-serving...what America DOES rarely represents what the population of America wants to do. Also, it's too bad that the bad ones fuck it up for the entire group, whether it's Christians, Muslims, Americans, whatever...it doesn't make sense to me for someone to hate a group because they don't like that the group has been hateful. Isn't that becoming what they are?

yeah, as ive mentioned before, saddam was a mean man. but why did we go after him particularly and not all the other mean men in the world? how about going to china, oh wait no theyre our friends, how about cuba, oh wait they have missiles. there has to be something more thats going on there. declaing war on mean men, i dont why that just sounds so funny to me.
