OT: Kev LOVED your book. He would like to know who your influences are/were because he wants to go buy some more books. He is out of reading material at the moment.
Lately, I've come to find influence in the writing of M. Christian, and various Bizarro fiction writers. If you want strange and brilliant books to read, I recommend starting with these.
Most of the influences aren't literary, from the obvious Star Wars and Jaws references to such obscurities as Mrs. Shady's Daughter (I can't even find a link for that one.) to Hoover and Campbell's Chunky Soup line, but I'll give you a bit of a list as well as I can think of, top-of-my-head-style, showing television and film readers of Hellbound Snowballs might like:
The series seen above has been a pretty big influence for me lately. Unfortunately, it isn't available for sale in a format most American DVD players

Thank you, sir. I have forwarded your reply to Kevin. I told him you were on myspace and he could ask his own questions, but shy teen, what can I say - I've not rubbed off of him.
We'll hit the library first, then he'll decide who he wants to purchase.
