A New Doo: Now tall AND Dark
As you can see from the profile pic... I recently dyed my hair. Well, I thought it sounded like a good idea, and Amy was the pro who carried out the dyeing. I think it works. :P
Life is going quite well right now, although finances are stressin me hard core... mon. Man, if I could just live on an island making boats... how much easier life would be. But I live in Madison, and that means paying rent and cable and utilities, and then I have a cell phone, which has it's own bill alltogether. Right now, the income... ain't so strong. Oh well... I'll survive. Guess that trip to visit my sister in San Diego can't happen though. She moved there recently from Long Beach to pick up where her job left off when Cingular ate AT&T Wireless. She's gotten a raise, her regions include San Diego, Palm Springs, Las Vegas and Hawaii. Tough life right? She really wanted me to visit this summer... but it doesn't look like it's in the cards.
I'm seriously considering living close to her once I start working. This is how the plan goes for me; Get a job right out of college here in the Madison area, work there for a few years... maybe 5, and during those 5 years... be looking for possible career opportunities in areas that I'd like to end up living in. San Diego, CA, Flagstaff, AZ, Denver, CO, or wherever else I come up with by that time. It'll depend on a lot of factors I'm sure, but I think it'd be cool to be out west ... Colorado, Arizona, California.... close to my sister who I haven't been able to really have much contact with for years.
Things with Amy couldn't be better. We're spending just enough time together to feel together, and spending just enough time apart to not get on eachothers nerves. Any time she's in a bad mood and starts taking digs at me, we're getting good at me not listening to her and her realizing that she's being a brat. haha We're learning from eachother, as much about ourselves as the other person, and really.. what more can you ask for?
