Holy Canoli!
It's been a while but I'm back! Last week ended up being kinda shitty. I was just coming to accept that my car was smashed up when I got a call Wednesday night letting me know that my cat Mittens had died, while having dinner at NY Grill. So, that was the turning point in the week. I wasn't able to do any work, and luckily nothing was due last week, it's all due this week!!! I am actually writing this entry to avoid all my work and also after having convinced myself that i won't be able to get any work done until i update my journal...so, thursday was another work and class day and i think there was a chat that night...friday, i went to work then psych and then went home to bury the cat, but it was raining so we waited til saturday to have the funeral, but mom and i went to pete's for dinner. I got the prime rib and mom got chicken sorrentino. saturday, mom went to get her car inspected at john's (our mechanic) and she woke me up and we went in before he left to get my fender bent out so it doesn't rub (screw commas). then we went to the liquor store to get a box for mittens but they didn't have a good-sized one so we went nextdoor to the clothing store and got a nice box, albeit a lil too big...then we head home and jen comes and eventually we bury mittens. i end up replacing the hubcap missing from the accident with one of the old original ones i saved...we go to applebee's for dinner. eye get the chicken fingers/riblet combo which is ok except the riblets suck (can't wait for real ribs at smokey bones!!!)...i forget what mom and jen got. then, we head home and jen and mom take the sentra to valvoline to get inspected and i stay home since i'm sick from dinner. i head to the bank and cvs and i think b&n (or maybe that was friday night???) and then rowie calls to say they're at marist (lauren and her) and they'll call when they go to mccoys (bar across the street from marist). so, i head home and then rowie calls back around 930 and i head over and we end up hanging out at marist til around midnight. oh we were there for lauren's friend sabrina's bday btw. so, they have this nice townhouse apartment deal with 5 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, kitchen, livingroom and balcony, all on 3 floors. it was the hot setup, but as rowie pointed out, it would suck to live with 9 other girls (actually, i personally might NOT mind that, but then again i have never lived with 9 other girls...)...so, we head over to this bar called the real mccoy in potown (as though i'm a stranger in my own town) and this place is packed with marist kids. we spend like 4 hours there, well i do...i buy a captain and coke right off the bat and it is yummy, and then ampil and lauren give me a couple of drinks that they either got from admirers or couldn't finish...rowie, bobbi jean and scott (bobbi's bf) head home to bobbi's, and then later on, lauren and joe head home and the bar gets a LITTLE quieter and we're all treated to ron's wild dancing antics, but eventually we head home. ampil drives everyone and their brother home and eye follow in my car with brendan on board. ampil lead us through the campus with all of its mighty speedbumps; maybe she was pretending to be one of the security vehicles with her cr-v (marist vehicles are cr-v's), but brendan and i did NOT like the speedbumps. i would have taken route 9 back...so i drop of brendan and stop in to witness 10 people lying like mexicans on the livingroom floor of the townhouse, then i depart for 10 pine echo drive...the next day, i wake up (for good) around 2, and we head out to jen's and then pick up one of mom's coworkers and we go to eat at the stockyard. it is really yummy, and then we head back to jen;s and talk and then we go home around 8. i end up heading up to albania around 9 and chill online and then call it a night. get up and eat leftover steak and then head to work and end up reading a couple of my many books i am planning to use for my presentation tomorrow, then i go to psych and take pages of notes and then get the review sheet items and head back here, eat the rest of my steak, salad, cook up some ramen and here i am procrastinating as usual...maybe i'll actually start on this presentation and then i'll just have to worry about my 8 page paper for lits and cults of spain that's also due tomorrow....!!!
