'twas the night before school

'twas the night before school
and all through the night
everyone was complaining
on how they were right

some felt they were ready
others thought they were not
mom yelled at son to go to bed
but it was his weiner dog he sought

dad had passed out
hours before
mom sat up watching tv
till she began to snore

when kyle hit the bed
sleep came with ease
chad almost woke everyone up
with a massive sneeze

the house was calm and still
and i reflected on my day
woke up in the morning
and to church i would pray

came home to apply for school
damn printer wouldnt work
finished around 5pm
sat around like a dork

decided to continue my day
like the last 3 i had before
cranked out 150 pushups
and ached on the floor

nothing else to do
time for a nice run
ran through streets
1.5 miles and i was done

showered by 9
chilled soon after
felt something in my stomach
but it wasnt laughter

150 situps
and i was beat
eyes started to close
so i gave my body a treat

i will save homework
for my day in class
looking forward to it
hope i wake up with some gas
