room opening and other gibberish-ness

Our wonderful roomie Hannah is leaving us, sadly. Transferring to Eastern in Spokane, but she will definitely a lot happier closer to family/friends. In two weeks she will be 21, so it will kinda be the last hurrah for her...we are going to make her change her mind when we take her to the bars in Seattle.

And you guessed it, her room is available now, so I already have two candidates, one from my LOFT group in 2000 (For the deafies...its Cara) and another one who is a friend of a friend. We'll see how that goes.

School pretty much rocks, I am doing really well, handling the classes, signed up for next quarter, taking more poetry and nonfiction writing, will also be taking intro to language, and so on and so forth. I really like poetry writing, and writing stories about my life. I love the ways that I can play around with words for my papers. Anyhoo. The books I am reading aren't shabby either, next one is "The Lovely Bones" and is looking kickass so far!

Last weekend was MINUS THE (masturbating) BEAR! (They need to bring that silly character back to the Conan O'Brien show!) And of course the music was wonderful. Headphones was a little disappointing - too much synth/bass, although it sounded cool at first but got old right away. The guys and I went to get beers and bitched about things. These Arms Are Snakes had a solid set, but MTB was awesome as ever, and I think this was my 4th(?) time seeing them. Crisco Twister, Game Needed Me, Absinthe Party, and DRILLING were incredible, as all of their songs were of course. The Fix sounded pretty good live as well (it didn't make my balls tingle this time even though I think the opening is insanely annoying...) Went to Dicks afterwards.

And for the record, T is for tits. And I still love my girlfriend, one whole year :-)

This weekend is all about SUNRIVER!! WOO! Leaving after Poetry class tomorrow and having a mini-Thanksgiving with Mom and Dad, since they will be in Ohio with Bethy for the 'real' Thanksgiving holiday. So this weekend is looking up.
