updating the LJs make people happy
Dad and I are currently going through the process of looking at new cars and I can't figure out which one would be the best bang for the buck/quality/etc etc. I test drove a couple cars today and liked what I saw but I'm not sure what to do...
I checked out the Subaru Outback, Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, and Pontiac Vibe. I'm already thinking of leaving the regular Outback out of the picture due to low MPG and price. But the AWD Outback Sport and AWD Vibe are still our favorite choices, the steering works very well for both, and both can withstand all kinds of weather, except for tornadoes/hurricanes and the like. The Vibe has better gas milage but lacks some horepower that the Outback Sport has. Both would be fun cars to drive and I'd be happy with either. Maybe another car will come into the picture...who knows. The Toyota Matrix looks a lot like the Vibe...with the same engine and such.
Any comments for these cars all you enthusiasts?
Bah...today was the only day I didn't get to work this week during my 40 hour super week, so I decided to test drive the cars and look at new glasses, which will be here next week! They look pretty neat too. Painting the hall bathroom comes next, and a dinner date. mmm phad thai.
