First and final check
I guess it didn't turn out as badly as I expected. They did pay me for all my hours on one check, and they only shorted me by $.63/hr. It could have been much worse. I was afraid they were going to try and get away with paying me only minimum wage since we only made a verbal agreement regarding my rate of pay. $.63 times 83 hours minus 20% for taxes is about $42. Not a huge deal. $42 I could definitely use right now, but there's really nothing I can do about it. Still, the money I did get paid really helped. I wish I could have kept the job at least a little longer in spite of how much I hated it. My money situation is really starting to scare me.
