Well we took her out on her maiden voyage. The name in the running for the boat is now "City of Barcelona" in honor of the original "City of Barcelona"
http://www.english.uiuc.edu/maps/poets/a_f/espada/spanish.htm Erik and I got her up and running and then tipped it about 15 minutes later. Fortunately we were in waist high water so it was no problem to get it upright and sailing again. Overall it was a good day. The boat handles great.
However we now have the joys of owning a boat. We have a list of all the things that need to get fixed on it. Some of it now, some of it can wait. Even though it is a small boat, I can't believe all that we have to do with it to keep it up and running.
Anyone want to go sailing this weekend?
