I had the pleasure of the Backyard Babies rocking my face off last night. Those guys are so freaking tight. I can't believe that they were getting booed by people. I heard one guy behind me say that they sounded like Def Leppard. I wanted turn around and introduce him to the pimp hand. People just don't seem to recognize when they are in the presence of great music. I was able to pick up their new album, and have been listening to it since I got home from work. I love it. I talked to the merch guy for a brief moment last night, and was told that re-release of the older stuff won't be until June. I think I might have to see if someone can make me a copy in the mean time. I'm impatient. Social Distortion was awesome as well. They played for like an hour and twenty minutes. They did an old set, which was great in my opinion. I've waited 9 years to see them again. It was well worth the trip to Jacksonville to see that show. I didn't go to bed until 2, and had to get up at 7, so I was a bit tired today.
