see i still update this thing!

well i know not many people read my journal anymore. partially due to the fact that i'm lazy with it, and i very rarely update it. anyway, amy wanted me to update, and i said i will, so here i go!
hmm, well i went to brisbane last night and saw handsome family at the troubadour. it was pretty good, except gentle ben supported, and i really don't enjoy gentle ben and his annoying band.. especially when they played a song that sounded exactly like the pixies with one chord different. ah well.
I have a job interview today in brisbane, i'm nervous because it would be a really awesome job to get, and i don't have good luck with job interviews. Anyway, i guess i have nothing to lose right? thats a pretty good attitude to have.
Things have been pretty good lately, dispite having no money, and being in a bit of trouble financially, i'm hoping that will change soon.
Our gig on the 29th got cancelled, and now we only have two gigs coming up, the tsunami one on the 26th with a whole-lot-of bands at 6 10.. and the gig at the Rev with the grates, and nightstick, which should be fun.
My week thus far has been fairly simple, mainly applying for jobs, and doing odd things around the house. not all that exciting. I got woken this morning by the manager who decided to start up his chainsaw outside of my bedroom window for an hour or so.. as soon as i got up it stopped.. co-inscidence? i think not. Anyway, i don't like him. Thats all. What a boring blog entry.
