I look like my icon all the time these days. I literally have to get up and take a five-minute walk every hour or so, so that I don't fall asleep at work, so that I don't get fired for falling asleep at work. I get seven to eight hours of sleep a night, and I am still exhausted when I wake up in the morning, despite the coffee and the vitamins and the tons of water.
Today, we went to visit a house because we're looking for a new place to live, and I fell asleep in the car. During a twenty-minute ride to the west end of town. And all that woke me up was the horrendous speed bumps we hit that did their best to rearrange my insides with how steep they were.
And I still haven't heard jack from my primary doctor about my test results. Of course, she's off for the next three weeks, but there are other doctors who take over for her while she's gone, and I haven't heard from them either. The extent to which I am not impressed cannot be measured.
In non-medical news, go read
Never Return to the Scene of the Crime, an AU wherein Marcus is a regular joe and Esca is the thief who keeps stealing from him. It is finally done and so utterly amazing. I have no idea if she's going to post it to her journal or AO3 yet, but if you can't wait, there's the link to go read it.
I am still plowing my way through all the Suits fic out there, and I may have convinced
o_contrary to write some (where's my toaster?!), so expect recs soon.
