So the in-laws finally left yesterday, which. I had a really fun time with them, but goddamn, am I happy to get my room back and my life back to normal. I was so exhausted by all the family time that I literally napped for two hours after they left, which completely fucked up my sleep cycle, and I'm even more tired this morning. I'll probably be in bed by eight p.m. today because I am, in fact, ninety years old. Actually, scratch that. I know 90-year-olds with more energy than I have at the moment.
We also went to the Museum of Nature yesterday, and I took a bunch of pictures on my cellphone camera, so while the quality isn't great, I have pictures of dinosaurs and dinosaur skeletons and muskox and moose and bears, oh my! I shall be posting those, as well as all the pictures I've taken of my cats in the last two weeks because I am nothing if not completely predictable.
Speaking of cats, last night, both of them jockeyed hard to sleep with me, and were forced to share the bed with me. I guess they were out of sorts that they couldn't sleep in my room since it was being loaned out to a relative, and decided to make up for it with a vengeance when I got back into my own bed. Reese planted herself firmly between my legs and Onyx boxed me in at the hip, so I really had to fight if I wanted to turn over. Man, I have missed that so much. Oh, cats. ♥
I will be looking at this all day long to make me forget that I am exhausted:
It's not heart-eyes from space, but I enjoy watching them crack each other up way too much for it to be healthy for me. Just look at their little amused faces!
