I had a dream that vinylroad uploaded the perfect Clint Mansell song for my fanmix, and then we had an excited conversation about music on the bus. I had trouble remembering the name of the song whenever I tried to bring it up with her, but mostly, we geeked out about scores and soundtracks and composers and the like

Cats are so freaky like that, lol. I had a friend in Montana that I used to stay with when my folks were out of town who had cats. One was a giant, fluffy, orange tom, and he was used to sleeping in my friend's bed with her. One of the last times I stayed there (they moved into town, was the main issue), she for some reason took her spare bed and had me sleep in hers. I woke up in the middle of the night, unable to BREATHE because a) giant, fluffy Teddy the tomcat had made himself comfortable over my FACE, and b) I was having an acute allergic reaction. And all I could think of until I figured out what was going on and got my inhaler and an allergy pill was that movie, and how it would suck to die that way when I hadn't actually SEEN IT. One of my friends had described it to me in graphic detail, but it's just not the same.

I let Kaya sleep with me sometimes when we're on the road, but I still have allergy issues (yep, dogs too) that mainly manifest as a really irritating skin rash, so generally... no pets in the bed for me.

Oh, man, I am still allergic to the cats, but at least it's quietened down to an itchy nose, as opposed to the watery eyes, itchy skin, and big, deep welts that it used to be. At least I can cuddle them and let them on the bed if necessary.
