I had trouble remembering the name of the song whenever I tried to bring it up with her, but mostly, we geeked out about scores and soundtracks and composers and the like

Sigh, I miss all the fun. I'm like the loser who arrives at the party when it's nearly over and goes, "Hey, where's the booze!" and all that's left is a half-drunk Budweiser that's already reached room temperature, and then midway through drinking it you realize there's a cigarette butt at the bottom.

And I'm the loser who's always the first one to the party and ends up helping the host because it's either that or sit around in awkward silence for the next hour while people trickle in. No one wins. :(
