I woke up from a two-hour coma nap and could probably sleep for at least another hour just because. And then I watched The Good Wife (SUCH a good show! I love it a lot) and Shattered (the sister: "Callum Keith Rennie is still so frickin' hot. I would tap that skinny ass so hard.") and ate pork chops and mashed potato and generally lolled around on the couch like the big lazy bastard that I am.

I love Saturdays and all the sloth they entail.

Some fun things because I am just in that mood:

Kanye has released a few remixed tracks from his upcoming album, and I am so excited that I can't even stand it. As I said Jen, it's like he's making up for how awful 808s & Heartbreak was by making the new album more AWESOME than all his other albums put together.

so, like, I have sadly never really heard much music by Kate Bush, even though I am aware of just how amazing she is. But I still remember the first time I saw the video for Running Up That Hill and how strange and wildly hypnotic the song was, and how much I loved her voice. So here's that song because I think we could all use a little Kate Bush in our lives, right?

MPIX is playing Addams Family Values all month long and I cannot stop myself from watching it every time it is on or getting it on demand, despite the fact that we have it on DVD. I LOVE this movie so much, even more than the original, which I loved pretty damn hard as well. And it is hilarious to see Christine Baranski play a psychotically cheerful camp counselor when I see her being all cool and sexy on The Good Wife now. Christine, you will always be my favorite.

Also, I still have a wild crush on Joan Cusack (ask me how much I love hot, funny women) and Christina Ricci (hello, first girlcrush ever!), and Wednesday Addams may be the reason why I ended up having a Thing for Goth girls. ♥, movie, so many ♥s.

Off to shower and lounge around in pajamas. Tomorrow the sister and brother-in-law are going on a daytrip and I will get the house to myself. I plan on cleaning the Hellmouth out of it!
