I didn't realize how much I needed Waylon Jennings singing
Luckenbach, Texas (Back To The Basics of Love) in my ear until Friday came and went without me going into a psychotic rage over little things that seemed designed specifically to piss me off. Oh, Waylon, you do so much to make everything better.
Also, Mike Holmes dressed in overalls and cuddling a cute, chubby baby might have exploded my ovaries. *eeeee!*
I have been meaning to upload some music from Peach Stealing Monkeys for the last few months, but my laziness overcame my need to share music, so I'm finally getting around to it today. My brother discovered them, and I fell in love with the music, thus everyone has to hear it because I can't not share. There are some amazing covers and remixes of different songs, and one collaboration with Eagles of Death Metal that needs to be heard to be believed.
Bam Bam [PSM Mix] (This is a remix of a well-known
Sister Nancy song and now I need to buy everything Sister Nancy has ever done because wow, she's fantastic.)
Didn't Leave Nobody But The Baby (PSM Mix)Elevator (Hot Hot Heat Cover)Fever (For Ukulele)I Hate My Job (This is such a perfect song for me.)
Lost In NY (Reggae) (I love this song like crazy.)
Poor Little Fool (On Ukulele) (Ukeleles > everything ever.)
Sunshine Superman (Donovan Cover)Whorehoppin' (ft. Eagles Of Death Metal)Your Woman [Whitetown cover] (Oh, this fucking song STALKED me in the '90s and I hated the shit out of it for being the worst kind of earworm ever, but I love this cover so much. Sigh, the universe laughs at me.)
ZaberiSummertimeSea Of Love (For Ukulele) All right, off to do errands. And then maybe nap if I have the time.
