And These Motherfuckers Will Go Megaton At The Drop Of A Hat.

The post that is about friends and my lameness and TV shows, but mostly about TV shows and my lameness. Or, you know, things that make me happy:

  • yesterday was bookofdays's birthday (still the baby!), and to celebrate, Nadine and I stayed over at her new apartment, drank coladas, and watched SPN and SV until we passed out at 12:45. We are so hardcore! Little old ladies ain't got nothing on us.

And then this morning, I let her suck me into falling in love with A Simple Plan. I apparently have 'sucker' tattooed in large letters on every inch of my skin. Stupid, cute boys from Quebec who are in love with each other.

Anyway, even though the day has passed, I want to wish Véro a very happy birthday. You are one of my best friends, darlingest, and a most sweet and dear person that I'm lucky to have in my life. I'm glad I got to spend your birthday with you, and I promise to be more prepared for it next year. *smish*

  • I have seen The Flintstones in French. My life is complete.

  • oh, Supernatural, let me write you love letters about how much you delight me. Between Dean, the little kid, Sam's ever-present bitchface, and those genuinely fucking freaky kids, I am reminded all over again why I love you to death. Add in Ruby and her utter hotness, and I need to send Kripke and Co. a basket of porn, booze, and fruit.

    This show omg!

  • Reaper. Hello, hi, I love you so much that it's getting really fucking ridiculous. Please continue to make me happy with every episode, especially with the Devil and almost-canon Sock/Sam. Seriously, the first episode alone had boy-kissing and talk of Sock being attracted to Sam. ALMOST-CANON, BITCHES.

  • despite my best intentions, I fell in love with Moonlight. Sure their "driving" scenes are so obviously fake that even an eight-year-old with Play-Doh could do better, and yeah, it has Shannyn Sossamon in it, and true, some of the changes to the vampire lore are slightly irritating (so the sun makes vampires uncomfortable and he can sense what occurred just by smelling blood? Hokay then), and yes, Mick's vampirism is the worst-kept secret in the world since a) he has had the same identity for fifty years, but has never gotten any older, a fact that anybody with an Internet connection and a Google search can find out, and b) any criminal with a lockpick can break into his high-priced, supposedly well-guarded apartment and find his blood supply in under ten minutes flat, and okay, Logan Echolls is the world's most non-threatening, baby-faced vampire, so much so that I giggle madly whenever they try to show him as dangerous, but everybody on the show is ridiculously gorgeous, Mick and Beth have a really interesting dynamic, I'm intrigued by the vamp hierarchy and rules, and it's just a lot of fun in general.

I really couldn't ask for more in a show. Except hey, how about a Blood Ties/Moonlight crossover? Henry needs to teach Mick how to cover his tracks because, man, I honestly don't know how Mick survived fifty-something years without getting staked and beheaded. Boy cannot hide to save his life.

  • Bones. Seriously, how does David Boreanaz keep getting hotter every year? And how does this show keep getting better every season? It's like a magic trick, I swear. And it had Christina Cox in it! Win!

  • House. Oh, I can't even. I still can't talk about this show without getting stupid over it.

  • Corb Lund's grammar lesson: an act in three parts.
  • dorkstar, (un)biased tv show reviews, my life is random and complete
