Last night I worked a wedding. I have very few responsibilities besides making sure no one goes in the house, taking out the trash, and making sure people dont smoke on the grounds. There was a guy smoking a cigar by the bathrooms so I went to up to him (who was apparently the groom's father) and told him to put it out. Now, I'm thinking he was drunk, because he didn't make it very clear that it was out. And I thought he was saying he would put it out when his wife came out. My fault. I didnt realize it was out until I went over again and he told me. So I apologized and wandered off picking up trash.
Roque and his friend Justin came to help me, thankfully. We ended up running into the Wedding party. As I was getting a drink at the back bar, one of the groomsmen recognized me, and in the ten minutes I was up there told me that I was a terrible person on a power trip and he hoped that I DIED IN A CAR ACCIDENT. Because I mistakenly asked someone to put out a cigar. He was, I should point out, late 20s, early 30s.
Anyway he made me cry at the bar, so I told him, "Congratulations for making a 21 year old cry at a bar, after the first time shes worked on this. Good job, I hope you sleep well."
I hope he wasn't too blacked out to remember that.
