New Apartment
I'm finally all moved in to my new apartment in Oakbridge! My parents and sister came down on Saturday with furniture for my room. I was kind of worried about not having enough space for all my stuff, because my new room is a lot smaller than my other one, but everything fit pretty nicely. I'm now in the process of deciding where to put all my paintings and such.
They took me shopping and I got some new things, under-bed storage, broom, BRAND NEW PINK MOUNTAIN BIKE, towels, etc. I'm excited about the bike. I havent been biking as much the last few weeks because I've been busy. Speaking of busy, I'm driving up to Dumfries today, around 1pm, and I'm not looking forward to it. I really have been moving non stop. The last week of July was moving everything then that first week of August I went to Chapel Hill and Virginia Beach (Which I should really write about soon) and then this past week I 'worked' '40' hours. Then Saturday I had to do a wedding and Sunday I was out in Christiansburg shopping for most of the day.
Kelly's in too, but she doesnt have any furniture yet. She brought an air mattress but forgot a pump for it, so she's been sleeping on the futon, or at Jessi's. I think Jimmy's bringing her a pump today, or she'll be using my bed, his bed, or the futon again. I'm not really sure.
I rented Motorcycle Diaries but didn't actually finish is, and I have to return it today before I leave for home. I guess I'll bike into town and get that taken care of.
Oh yeah, our new apartment is SO close to campus. About a 10 minute walk, same for Downtown. I'm pretty happy about that. The bad part will be when it's really cold outside with 100 mph winds, and I'm walking.
Aside from that, my final thought: WTF, I'M A SENIOR IN COLLEGE!!!!!!! I can't believe summer's over, and I start school in a week.
