(no subject)
My mom came down to Blacksburg this weekend, and we went to Greeneville Tennessee and Bristol to visit her alma maters (materi? materus?). It was a lot of fun. I love hanging out with my mom, because shes just so quirky and cute. We didnt have directions for the hotel so we drove along the "main drag" and looked for the Comfort Inn. We found it, and realized we were staying at a Hampton Inn. Anyway we went to dinner and the next day went to Tusculum College and got a tour from a security guard. I got to see a few of the dorms, one of which my mom threw up in. We went to Virginia Intermont, that was a little decrepit. But it was neat to see where she had lived.
We drove back to Blacksburg on Saturday and she fixed my vaccuum cleaner and we helped Julia move some things. Then we went to Boudreauxs and Mom had 2 Mojitos and came to Sharkeys with us to 'sober up'. It was cute. She stayed for about 15 minutes, then left and TEXTED me when she got back to my apartment.
We hung out Sharkeys for a little bit and as I was leaving started talking to some guy at the bar. Then Brittany told me Ryan was here, and I left.
Anyway, Sunday after buying a bed and cleaning, I went to a cookout and called up Luis from Sharkeys. We went to his friends in Christiansburg and watched Colombian novelas with his friends Pablo. I got pretty into it, and they were so funny, they had watched like the entire season in two days. I passed out on the couch for a while, and Luis drove me home.
I need more Spanish speaking friends.
