Ah, the Structure bit reminds me of myself a lot. Except I grew up and am still in an environment that threw happiness under the bus called "Success", and when I slack off, and something doesn't work out well, aside from feeling crappy, I don't get support.
I also don't get support when doing something that is aimed at happiness rather than success.

And I totally get you on the "I have a system, so what if no one else can navigate it?"
I can't get my act together, though a time or two it did almost have dire consequences (I don't know how far from getting to military jail I was for procrastination on something important).

I laughed with sympathy at #4. Not because it's funny, or because I'm over it, but because I know what that's like.

So I hear you.

The whole Fail Forward thing is rough for me, not because I fear failure, but because I'm not sure I always identify the failure as happening.
