Neve and I were talking the other day about the growing number of communities where is seems to be ok to be cruel to others and to quite literally throw them down the stairs. It amuses me how people can say “it’s all in fun” and act as if people’s feelings shouldn’t get hurt. It also amuses me that those who do not interact with someone find it cool to publicly berate them. It’s an idle trend that I refuse to buy into. I want people to like me for who I am and not the words that I can throw to make someone else feel small. Trust that I posses a razor like tongue that could thrash any man to shreds but I choose to use it wisely. Childishness in adults is truly something to abhor.

So a few of us created the anti apathy community. A place where it’s cool to say something nice about someone. Where you may leave the bucket half full instead of trying to empty it. Feel free to join and post as it’s open membership. The rules are simple and posted in the user info. It’s all about showing a little gratitude.
It’s called. buttering_up
