I feel so cheap
I've just arranged to be working in Southampton for the next 4 weeks or so. On the plus side, I get to live off of expenses, but of course the negative being I have to stay in a (probably!) crappy hotel Monday-Friday,a nd I have a deep dislike for hotels and fake cheery or downright miserable people who are forced to work there at the best of time...
What got me though is that as I'm being sub-contracted out to do some work there, there's actually an invoice for me to work there. It appears that I have indeed been 'sold' for £48/hour. Almost makes you feel dirty to have a price on your head. Or maybe its the envy that I don't get paid anywhere near that!
