yes, i'm still alive
Its been a long time since my last post, and i wish i had more time to devote to this post tonight, but i don't, so i'm going to keep this short. Yes, i still work at Blockbuster, and i am enjoying the job. the pay sucks, but i get it for talking about movies. school has started, and thats going... well, its going. If you did not get a chance to see Spike Lee's When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Parts about Hurricane Katrina, i highly recommend that you do. I suggest that you watch all four parts in one sitting, and that you have plenty of time for reflection afterwords. it is quite possibly the finest piece of documentary filmmaking i have ever seen. i dont' suggest watching it alone (which is what i did), because you will want someone with whom you can discuss it. ok, gotta run, gotta read. i'll post more later.
