pseudo-update
well, i got back on IAM. met up with my old homies on there and things felt right again.
i've been neglecting my livejournal lately for good reason. when there's something interesting to post, i'll post it. but shit, this past year has been such a total mess of just working and going to school.. or the lack there of. i spent so much time wasting it away, but i have been getting better at the whole "hobbies" thing. i'm learning japanese!.. or at least trying to. and i'm playing hockey with russel so i'm trying to regain lung strength.
i'm still working with my mother, and yes it still sucks.
my septum is getting fixed within the next few months.. along with a minor refinement (nosejob) so i can look even more californian.
i'm getting fed up with school though. i really need to just finish everything in a year. taking 1 or 2 classes a semester have really paid off.. yeah right! i'll be taking a break during the winter intersession, but that's for the surgery. including that, i'll be in pcc for 3 years by the time i finish. when i first started school, i planned that this will be the semester i transfer (fall 02). but now i give my family the excuse that i'll be going for more background info classes that i could just take for gpa boosters and for cheaper at pcc than any UC. what i'll really be doing is taking the classes i should have gotten over with last year.
ah well. let this be a lesson in my life.
