Bogey man to read to the kids before bedtime...

It's a symetrical poem, and you need to practise the timing of reading it as well.

In so much as I may be seen,
I might.. or might not have been,
Under here,
Or in there,
I could be... anywhere,

I might creep,
slide,
stagger
or leap.

I could be slimey and green,
Smelly and unclean.

In the dark,
A snuffle?
A gibber?
Or a bark?

Am I real without your light,
Alive... in the night,
Maybe a rattling ceiling fan,
I could be a fox in a scrap,
Or I could be... the bogey man.
