Cake, basketball, and Hermes: my weekend
I made a really good cake, went to a basketball game, and hung out with Hermes. Not a bad weekend.
The cake: olive oil cake with orange segments on top. I used the juice that came out during the supreming process to make a glaze which was applied at serving time. I also didn't have any eggs so I replaced those with and equal volume of milk and added flax seed meal for a vegan egg replacement. I think it made the cake better.
A few photos from the Thunder game. It was hard to take good photos in there. We were in the first row of the third section. Since it was a playoff game everyone got a t-shirt and noise-maker on their seat.

The halftime show featured the Acrodunks. They were lots of fun to watch. They alternated acrobatic, trampoline assisted dunking with dancing.
