So last night Brook and I went to go see Kevin Smith Lays the Podium Down, which was probably the most hilarious four hours of my life. Certainly the best $30 I ever spent. There's not much point trying to quote all the hysterical shit that went on, because you just won't get it if you weren't there... but by halfway through my damn cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much.
I gotta say, out of all the film-makers and writers out there, Mr. Smith certainly makes it very, very cool to be a fan of his.
And now I can't wait until they put out the DVD, An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder so I can relive it all over again, and see some of the highlights of his other stops.
