Sooooooooo....
Long time no posty. One of those cases of getting too caught up in life to write about it again... Actually, that's a blatant lie. It's a case of using every spare moment I have to either read comics, play Warcraft 3 or get lost in San Andreas. I swear to God, it's like having a second job. Except I'm not getting paid.
Let's see, what else has been going on?
Still in love. That keeps getting better every day.
Occaisionally feeling the old existential malaise, wondering if there isn't anything more meaningful than working, consuming, sleeping, waking and doing it all over again... but mostly having a good time.
Threw my back out yesterday by STANDING UP from the couch, thus the feeling old bit. Well, it's not OUT, but there's a definite injury which I hope will go away with liberal doses of beer and lying down. Between that, my rapidly diminishing flexibility and my ever-receeding hairline, it's becoming more and more apparent that I will be thirty before I know it. And we all know anyone over thirty is the enemy. Grr...
Saturday I went home to the B-dot for my brother Michael's birthday. Spent most of the day playing San Andreas on my parent's big screen TV *drool* and went out drinking with my brothers that night, although I bailed early for sleep. Yesterday was family birthdays at the grandparent's place, which was fun and cozy as usual. Left early with Patrick, then hung out at my place with him and Ryan watching shit, playing yet more San Andreas and doing hot knives of hash in the kitchen. Fucking-A.
And now I sit at work at lunch, trying to reassert my internet presence, reading what you all have been up to, and looking forward to lying down on my bed with a controller clutched in my withered claws, some anime playing on the computer, and to seeing my Lil Petal again.
This week I'll be going to see KEVIN SMITH LAYS THE PODIUM DOWN on Thursday, which in turn is being filmed to be a part of An Evening with Kevin Smith 2: Evening Harder. Then friday is a party at Brook's friend Lily's, and Saturday's will be birthday chaos at Trevan's, for the Evan half of the entity.
