This post will be my reference post for all the plants Rowan has or had once upon a time. I will be using wikipedia + some pdfs of botanical guides from 1500s-early 1900s for my references and general what would be important (which a lot of leeway - he will not be administering mecury to anyone, pregnant women included)
Also this is his face to anyone who comes near them:
Most the information I am going to use right now is from Adam in Eden, which is a huge book covering basic information for a large number of plants, their looks, what they do and how to prepare them. I am downloading a number of them so I'll have more links eventually, but my Latin is rusty and most books are in Latin :<
Poisonous Plants
Belladonna/deadly nightshade (in his office)
Foxglove (Indoor planters, Mari found)
Calla Lily (all were burned - looking for)
lily-of-the-Valley (all were burned)
Wolfsbane (indoors)
Autumn crocus (outdoors)
Hemlock (outdoors, half were burned)
bloodroot (outdoors)
bittersweet nightshade (outdoors, a third burned)
Medical Plants
Ginger (outdoors)
poppies (outdoors) (double white, double black, scarlet double, variety of wild varieties of poppies (a yellow one from wales Mari be proud) - there is a syrup good for curing poisons of many types that he has on hand quite often.
Sage (small section, half burned)
Bonus group - plants and other things that he buys for the medical/experimental stuff, but doesn't grow himself. Can be found in apothecaries or random stores
