okay. I *think* I finally have enough of a grasp on Rowan to successfully put a FST together for him. I have ... three parts to it right now, each with like two to three songs so not all that dramatic. Yet. I know me.
And yet I am far from the worst of lot considering songs so /o/
PART 1 - Influences
These are basically songs I associate with him that are actually far more associated with other characters but apply to him in ways I can't even justify in most cases.
Fashion - Lady Gaga
I can't even justify this song. It's Amata's theme and I can actually listen to it and write Rowan successfully so. Sob.
I Will Not Bow - Breaking Benjamin
This is from Conrad, which surprised me because I didn't think I'd get a good for song for him. But it's far harsher and bitter than Rowan, but the drive in there is in him.
Hurricane - 30 Seconds to Mars
Mal's was sort of hard, because the other 30 seconds to mars songs mostly fit Rowan outright so I had to find one that fit Mal far more than Rowan.
It Will All Make Sense In The Morning - Halou
If you think Rowan is OCD over his plants, Danute was far worse. And her plants were sentient and potentially teleporting. Also a few were on fire. Danute had the best plants.

I just pulled this one out of nowhere for Briar so this is probably going to change, but I think this is fitting.

What Kind Of Man - Curtains
This is the song I basically heard and went okay I am doing a musical-themed Rowan FST.
Purpose - Avenue Q
Okay not nearly as funny, but this was/is one of Rowan's huge drives and why he throws himself so deep into research even if he lacks the curiosity normal of a scientist type
Opening - The Secret Garden or Final Storm - The Secret Garden
both repeat the Mistress Mary Quite Contrary rhyme, which is very fitting.
Sound of Music - The Sound of Music
This one is lame, but get past the cranky and the bitchy and etc and you'll find someone who actually does enjoy his life and would think something lame like this.
Everyone Wants To Be A Cat - The Aristocats
If Rowan was an Other, he'd be a cat. I'd say he'd be as creepy as Thea, but that is impossible. Mostly he'd be bitchy and rawrly and demanding. All the pettings :|
