Snow day

The weather is cold and frightful and snowy, therefore I think it is a wonderful day to stay indoors, under blankets, emerging only to bake (and later eat) chocolate brownie pie. So far I've managed the first two, complete with aquarium watching and wandering conversation. About to embark on the third, including homemade pie crust. There was to be pot roast for dinner, but nobody wants to go out on the roads to get a roast.

The cats and dogs would like it known that they approve mightily of all this blanket snuggling and being still.
