The Ultimate Job
What would your dream occupation be?
It's been so long since I've thought about this, I'm not sure. When I was little, I wanted to be a veterinarian. Until I realized doing so would mean sometimes watching animals die. Then I wanted to be like my Aunt Keely and run my own occult shop. Until I discovered I don't have the personality to deal with the public. That whole "customer is always right" crap would just get on my nerves after a while.
After that, I got more practical, and went to school for computer science. I wanted to be a web site designer or a computer programmer. Instead, I ended up as a vampire slayer. More exciting, I suppose, but computer careers pay better and there's much less chance of death and/or dismemberment.
So as boring as it sounds, there are still times now where I wish I'd gone my original intended route and become a computer geek. If I had, my life would be a lot different today. But I didn't, and I'm late for work.
