I can't say I wasn't warned. But when I was told that the food here sucks, I thought the warning was referring to the dishes popularily cooked in restaurants and such. That's only half of it. Much more distressing is the act of grocery shopping in Scotland. Any fruit you buy will be brown within 4 days, and bread will be multicoloured with mold before you finish the loaf. It's horrendously expensive, with the exception of tuna. You can save money by shopping at Tesco, which is sort of a British Walmart, or at Lidle, which is a ridiculously efficient (re: cheap) outlet. Lidle is particularly German: at the checkout the grocer orders you where to put your cart, and hurls the items at you so fast they pile up in front of you. Unfortunately, the food all tastes like dusty cardboard.
I felt much less sick today, so I went to Muay Thai, where I had the last of my sickness beaten out of me. Feel great now.
Maxim here is phenomenal. Not only do they show nipples, I got a free DVD with it: Naked Girls Sex Fantasies!
