[You've survived the second room? Excellent. Morty’s second room is a little different from his first. First of all, his two Gengars are perched at the entrance and as soon as your character walks in, they will be put under a heavy hypnosis. How else is a room based off Lost Silver supposed to work?

Anyways, the hypnosis is a lot like falling asleep, and when your character “wakes up” they’ll find themselves in the ... Sprout Tower? Alone. Wait, weren’t they just in Ecruteak? What is going on? Also, their pokemon have been slightly ... altered. They no longer have their six pokemon; they have the five Unown that spell out “LEAVE” and a pokemon with low health (it doesn’t have to be Cyndaquil. For Ethan, it would be. But for - say - Silver, it should be a Totodile and etc) that is named “HURRY.” And even if that pokemon didn’t know or wasn’t compatible with Flash before, it knows it now.

Your character has free reign in the first part of this room. But there is something that seems to draw them near the center of the room - and who wants to stay in that eerie silence for long anyways?]

[Well, this room was just... odd. Surge actually never really visited the Sprout Tower before- kind of just seemed like a bit of a silly place. He didn't know anything about the place. Only that this looked like the strangest place right now. No doors, no exits, no nothing. It was just that central pole that really... called out to him.

Surge walked over to it and placed a hand on the central pole. He hadn't yet even seen his Pokemon, but he felt that something just wasn't right.

Just what would happen if he moved forward? HMM.]

[Walking forward just takes you into another room.

It's pitch black in this room, though, and ohgod what is that sound. It sounds like a pokemon? Or some distorted radio noise.

Better use Flash.]

[Well, that was a strange noise. Time to figure out what it is. Surely he had a Pokemon that could brighten the room. Maybe Electivire's Fire Punches could temporarily bring in some light.

Yet lo and behold, he didn't have his regular Pokemon except for one. It was Raichu, yet the name on the Pokeball was different. 'HURRY.' What was that about? Nonetheless, he was going to be the one to use. He sent him out.]

Raichu, light up the room!

[It then used an attack he was sure Raichu didn't have on him: Flash? That was definitely Flash. How did it know that?

Either way, the room lit right up. This room was nice and red- fitting creepy theme there. He began to walk. Walk, walk, walk... was the room getting darker as he walked, or was that just his imagination?

He finally reached the end. He saw a sign: apparently he had to answer to it.

"TURN BACK NOW

> YES
> NO"

He wasn't about to turn back.] No.

[Yet nothing happened. No switch to the next room. Nothing. He said no again. Again, nothing. Again, and nothing for the third time. Did he have to answer the other? If he did, would it just let him through or would he teleport to the start?

Finally... he said yes.]

[HURRY has fainted!

The room is once again dark. And somehow, just somehow, your previous six pokemon are gone again. They're replaced with 6 more Unown that spell out 'HE DIED'

The lights flicker back on, revealing that you're now stuck in some sort of ... square block? You can't get out, not that you want to since outside of the block is surrounded by graves and not like you could since ... what? Your arms? What arms?

The powers of Hypnosis are amazing.]

[His... His Pokemon... the balls hanging on his belt were different. Even worse? He was basically trapped in this enclosed area, and his arms? Haha, arms. What were those?

He was legitimately getting creeped out. He felt no pain, yet at the same time, he felt empty. It was a strange emptiness forced upon him. How did that happen, and why was it so hard to get rid of?

He began to walk. Walking, walking, walking aimlessly.

That was when he felt himself spinning.]

[Spinning, spinning as you drop again - thankfully the drop isn't as bad as the elevator - and until you land back in the Sprout Tower. Except everything's red? Something's not right about it this time.

You still have your legs, because that's just kind of silly and how else are you supposed to walk around - but everything else is still happening. When did you start crying? Why are your tears so warm?

And why have your pokemon been replaced again? This time with Unown that spell out 'DYING' and a level 100 Shiny Celebi that only knows one move. Ah well, questions can be asked later. There's only one way to go now and that's up.]

[WHAT. Nothing in the room really seemed to bother him when he realized that there were tears. What. Why was he somehow crying over this? The thing is, he didn't even feel that freaked out in this room, despite its bright red coloring. He didn't even feel anywhere near the point of crying. So... how?

Besides, Surge didn't like the idea of tears, especially over something so ridiculous. He wasn't even intending to cry, but... still. That was a bit painful on his pride.

Either way, he had to move on. He walked for what seemed like forever, and- were those ghosts? They were people, that's for sure, but they were as white as snow. They also seemed very unresponsive. How odd.

He kept on going. It was only then that he noticed a figure at the end of the path...] Huh?

[Could it be?]

[Could it? Sure looks like Red, except he's as white as snow too.

______ would like to battle! The Unown music from the second room starts up again and 'Red' sends out Pikachu! It looks miserable - like its been through too much.

It's first move is Curse!]

[... WEIRD. Surge was more than ready to send out one of his Pokemon, but once he threw a Poke Ball to call out Raichu, a loud, piercing screech hit his ears. It reminded him somewhat of a Zubat. He was quick to realize that was not his Raichu's cry.

There it was, a Pokemon only spoken of in the legends that... Surge honestly didn't care to read about: Celebi. A PINK Celebi. Surge didn't think at all in the ways of, "Oh shit, that's a LEGENDARY POKEMON," seeing as he didn't really know what Celebi even was. His thoughts consisted more of, "Hey, that's not my Raichu! What's going on?!"

Well, that along with the fact that the Celebi seemed to be lacking some very important body parts.

Surge didn't know what kind of attack to send it out on. It looked like a grass-type. Maybe it'd know this move?] ... Razor Leaf!

[It didn't use Razor Leaf. Instead, a nasty, deadly song hit the ears of everyone in the area: Perish Song. Celebi and Pikachu would be fainting in a few turns.

Well, that was just peachy.]

[yeah Surge, you're in an A+ situation right here.

Pikachu used flail!

And after that it's going to use Frustration.

and then room three lasted forever.
except no, it'll end after the battle with red sobb]

[Surge then witnessed as Celebi used Pain Split to share their pain equally. Celebi and Pikachu now both had their fair shares of pain.

One more attack from Pikachu, and the Perish Song would cause them to faint.

It was inevitable. Surge tried to switch out, but couldn't. He was unable.

[Before he can back away, Falkner feels the effects of hypnosis weigh onto his mind. When he thinks he fought off the spell, he looks around.] Eh? Ethan?! Oh, for pity's sake, did he get lost?

[He frowns then looks around at his surroundings.] How strange. This floor room seems to be a copy of the inside of Sprout Tower... [His focus goes to the pillar in the center.] Ha. I suppose they could not find an actual Bellsprout for the central column. [He steps up close and pats it.] All the better. I could do without the wobbling.

arcanefog November 10 2010, 00:19:19 UTC
[Uh ha ha, yeah, no chance, Falkner. Not with both the Gengar's working their magic.

The wobbling and lack of Bellsprout will be the least of your worries. The pat you just gave it was all it needed to send you into the next room. It's pitch black again, and the sound should be familiar if you've ever listened to the radio in the Ruins of Alph.

Time to check your pokemon and use Flash, man.]

[Falkner falls forward in a heap as the column disappears.] OUCH! Wh-what?! [He pushes himself to his feet in a frustrated gruff, embarrassed by his clumsiness.] Oh, very funny... And now they've made the lights disappear as well? Hmph. Do they take me as some child who is afraid of the dark?

[As he places his hands on his hips, he brushes past ... a pokéball..?] Eh? I was certain I left my Pokémon behind. Or is this a trick, too? Oh, very well. [He gives in and releases the Pokémon inside the ball. Something light lands onto the floor in front of him. From the way the Pokémon sounds... it is a Natu? Odd, he is sure he traded it to Miss Ayane...] Natu, if you are one, find us some light. You shoul-

[And suddenly Natu uses FLASH.] GYAAA!!!

[The light welcomes you to a very red room with only one long hallway that you're supposed to go down.

As you go down it, the lights slowly start to dim again. And finally, at the end, is a sign you should totally check out and have to answer.

> NO" ]
