Zeke's eyes widened immediately, then abruptly narrowed, wanting to defy Green solely because he could. However, he knew that if he did, the outcome would be exactly as Green predicted; no food would be had. And Zeke liked the thought of food.
He cocked an eyebrow and hunched further, glaring. He may as well set a condition for his own purposes. "Pokémon, too. And shoes."

Green blinked at Zeke's words; that was practically a speech. He took a moment to try and decipher what Zeke meant, but once he realized, his posture relaxed. "Yeah," he muttered. "In for a nickel, in for a dime, right?" He scanned Zeke again, and a bit of his old humor slipped into his expression. "No reason to fix you up and then mess you up again with shitty clothing," he said with a lopsided grin.
He reached out a hand. "Anyway. Gimme your Pokémon."
Zeke immediately bristled. What did Green want with his pokémon that they needed to be handed over? Hm. Maybe he could hand them over... but not in their pokéballs.
Carefully, he took all six from his pocket and raised them a little, as though he'd give them to Green, but dropped them before Green could get his hands on them. All at once, the pokémon materialized in the small bathroom and made it a little more crowded.
But he just had this bathroom renovated ;_;numberonerivalOctober 22 2010, 13:24:30 UTC
Green reached out to take the Poké Balls-but his eyes widened as Zeke dropped them. He immediately backed out of the bathroom, partially out of caution, partially to give them all more room. "The fuck?" he shouted over the noise; Eevee leapt in front of him, curious and wary, as he glared over the crowd at Zeke. "If you want to pick a fight, we can take it outside," he growled.
Eevee put her head down, stretching her front legs before her as she sniffed upwards at the Breloom. Her tail waved slightly; she didn't want to fight, but...
No claw marks, I promise!refugenesisOctober 22 2010, 17:29:03 UTC
Instead of picking a fight, however, Zeke's pokémon simply found space to stand, wondering just like Green where they were and what was going on. Sneasel had jumped up onto the sink to avoid being stepped on, Scyther, holding its blades close, backed into a corner confusedly while Zangoose had materialized in the shower. Shuppet floated above Zeke's head nonchalantly, while Luxray had moved in front of him. Breloom stood where it had appeared and looked down at the Eevee and smiled. "Bre!"
Zeke, meanwhile, felt much, much better about his pokémon being taken. Now, if something happened, they could defend themselves. He'd just keep their pokéballs.
"Where are they going?" he asked, reaching for the pokéballs and fairly confident that he'd be able to find his team if they were taken.
Green watched, eyes narrowed, as Zeke's Pokémon arranged themselves. Eevee chirped a reply to Breloom's greeting, creeping forward to touch careful noses. When nothing terrible happened after a few seconds, he relaxed, although he still looked distinctly annoyed.
"I was going to see if they wanted some lunch," he said. "That's all." His head tilted to the side, his tone hard, but not malicious. "What did you think I was going to do?"
Breloom poked her nose with his own, then turned to the rest of his companions and gestured at his new friend. "Bre-bre loom!"
Zeke's face, meanwhile, had scrunched. He glanced sideways at his pokémon; his eyes flicked up to Green only briefly, and then he looked away, one hand settling idly on Luxray's shoulder and fingers curling against her fur. "Dunno."
Eevee tiptoed forward to stand beside Beloom, tail wagging harder as she chirped a hello to the others.
Green sighed, putting his arms down. "Tell them to come with me," he said. "I'll feed them while you clean up. Eevee," he called, and she immediately turned, ears twitching. "Lunchtime. Come on." She didn't need a second invitation, bouncing over to leap onto his shoulder.
"The green bottles are mine," he said. "You can use those. I'll get you some towels." He gave Zeke a casual wave as he turned away. "Take your time-nobody's going anywhere."
Despite the carefree assurance, Zeke felt no calmer without his pokémon. So he did the best thing he could come up with and hurried through his required duty. Stripping in a flash, he hesitated only briefly before turning the water on, the steam slowly rising to coat every surface it could and obscuring the mirrors. When he stepped in, however, he was given pause.
The luxurious warmth of it all tempted him to stay put; he could probably spend a minute or two more without consequence. So he tipped his head back and let the water cascade over him, for once finding a serenity he could indulge in.
He took his time with the soap and shampoo, too, sniffing each bottle before deciding that it wouldn't kill him.
