Towards tomorrow.
In the cheering of the crowd, the concrete walls came down. A small passageway opened up, turning the hands of the long idle clock. It hinted the end of an era was close by, and that the beginning of a united future awaited eleven months from then. At that moment, both remembered what could have been and had faith in what could be.
Twenty years later they stand shoulder to shoulder in this changed world, thinking back to twenty years earlier, how their reunion had shaken the world. And hence despite the problems unsolved, they will look forward with pride.

It's my first try at writing a drabble( a 100 word ficlet.)...I have to admit it's not a good piece......I've rusted since I don't get to write narrative at school anymore....TAT Right. And my best wishes to world peace(and Germany).
