I wrote a very silly story
Dear Diary

Warnings: Narrator is FEMALE omg.
So, it's actually kind of a funny story as to how this came about. I applied at my favorite boutique, and earlier today the owner or manager called me back, saying that he had reviewed my application and was considering me for a position...but not on the sales floor. Apparently he was impressed with my academic achievements! So, I may be their social media and web presence person! Which basically involves me writing and taking photos, two things I really like to do!
However, one part of the conversation was a little awkward.
Him: So, do you like to write?
Me: I love to write! I actually write quite a lot!
Him: Awesome! What kind of thing do you write?
Me: Oh, short stories, the occasional essay.
Him: Wonderful...is your writing published anywhere online?
Me: *long hesitation* Yes... (Thinking: Please don't ask for a link)
But, yeah, he said I could shoot him an email with a sample of my writing, which I have already done. However, I didn't think anything I had written was exactly...you know...appropriate to send to a manager. That would have been super, super awkward. So I whipped Dear Diary up in the span of about two hours.
I actually really like it, so I hope you do too!
