I don't know how many of my readers actually follow me on LJ, if following is even the right term. I might be thinking of Twitter.
Anyway, this is a quick life update. I've been working on research papers in addition to playing DAII, which has left me with little time for my own writing. In addition to that, I'm feeling a bit listless. My mom stopped in San Marcos on her way to Pensacola (in Florida) to see her dad. She explained the situation to me. Fast-spreading cancer, all in his spine and bones, and in his liver. The doctors give him 1-3 months. I've never lost a close family member before.
And I'm not looking for pity. Seriously. I'd actually rather have not mentioned it at all. Just trying to explain why I don't exactly feel like writing silly love stories. I started a chapter of 476, but Rome's voice came off as more bitter than I've previously characterized him, so I'm going to redo it. Eventually.
