We're dealing with Stan's being more tired than usual
They said that might happen with this hormone blocking shot, but Stan's refusing to believe he's more tired than usual. I just try and coax him to go to bed earlier than usual and that seems to help.
He's been given the go ahead to put off his radiation treatments for a while as he tries to set up the thingy Schneider has for drivers that have a medical leave without pay problem. They sometimes will give the driver regular checks during those emergencies. And if not, we'll see about Social Security. Stan's working with a counselor on both possibilities.
Me? I've been sicker than a dog since last Saturday and was able to keep down some chicken bouillion today and I'm relieved. I was worried about getting dehydrated.
There seems to be some sort of really nasty flu going on around here. One of our friends ended up in the hospital with it.
We're both alive and kicking.
