The Master lead Dan out one of the bar's many doors, and into a gleaming metal chamber that was most assuredly nothing the scientist had ever seen before.
What would strike Dan first about the room was how cold it was. The cold seemed to exude from the walls, and was nearly jarring. The room itself was tiny and sparse, walls inlaid with wide bands of white ceramic. A computerized terminal screen flickered on the far wall.
Wordlessly, he led the other man through a narrow, dim-lit corridor, past reinforced doors, into the control room. The system had been idling for some time. With a touch, screens blinked back into readiness.
He turned to Dan, leaned against the console, and grinned.
[Please note that while this is a timeship, it is not the Master's TARDIS. His TARDIS is dying; please see his
AU notes.]
