Reno had stepped back out of the Seventh Heaven after the meeting with Barret, and when he did he noticed the streetlights had changed, the plate was no longer above his head, and the streets looked different. He swung back into the door, and noticed the bar didn't look like the inside of the Heaven anymore, either. "Where. . .am I? This ain't Midgar. . .this ain't any place I've ever seen, really."

He started to reach for the knife that was in his boot, but decided to look and listen instead, assessing the threats before acting.
