Michael's rather unceremonious arrival earlier in the day had led him to the bar. And since nobody had been behind the bar at the moment, he'd hopped behind it to busy himself. There was a bartending guide sitting on the bar, which he was flipping through idly as he waited for someone to wander in.

He glanced up as the door opened.

William took in the mostly deserted bar. The smell was a good one, of polished wood and long use. He stepped over towards the counter and the lone occupant. "You the bartender?" He asked, tilting his head slightly as he smiled.

"I am at the moment," Michael replied with a shrug of one shoulder. "Got here and nobody was behind the bar so I figured hey, what the hell? Might as well busy myself."

He shrugged again.

"What can I get you?"
