FUTURE - POST-APOCALYPSE - BEGINNING
>> PREQUEL [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester/Alistair/Ruby] - Oktoberfest fic, detailing out how Dean wakes up dead on the cadaver table with White-Eyes/Alistair over him and Sam finding out about Dean before the end of the world hits.
Part I Part II
>> WEEK ONE [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester] - The first week out of Landels immediately after Dean's rescue. Landels Institute is hit by some mysterious, earth-shaking force that turns out to be the end of the world (or close to it). The patients are able to escape, Sam and fledging Demon Dean among them. Sam has to adjust to what his brother's been twisted into, and Dean has to face the world outside the labs and learn how to function again.

FUTURE - POST-APOCALYPSE - THE PRESENT
>> RUINED CITY [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester] - It's been over two months after the fall of Landels and the end of the world, Dean travels with Sam throughout a perpetual wasteland. Between Sam waking up in the abandoned apartment and the Wal-Mart incident, Sam goes to find Ruby for two things, and he doesn't want to talk about Dean. Dean and Sam investigate a Wal-Mart for supplies, they run into more survivors, and Dean gets sniped in the head after cleaning up.
>> RUINED CITY WALMART NIGHT [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester] - Dean offers his blood for Sam to drink. After that, Sam stays inside, waking up to find Dean reading a harlequin. Dean shows a brief glimpse of his old personality.
>> RUINED CITY DINER DAY [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester] - Dean ends up taking the Ruger rifle after Sam brings it back in Wal-Mart. Sam's become infected by the gunshot wound. When they take a break in the blasted wreck of a diner, Sam announces he has a fever. Dean's concerned, but Sam rejects his offer of blood; Dean, being the awesome undead brother he is, leaves him a half-glass of his blood in case he changes his mind before leaving to scout the ruined city.
>> THE CAR [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester] - Sam's infection gets worse, forcing Dean to try to feed him blood every night, more than he's ever given him before. The sheer luck they run into in finding an intact, functioning car is diminished by the fact Dean's blood flow has trickled off. Partially delirious, Sam tries to coach him in a super-short, down and dirty crash course in hotwiring a car and driving. They make it to an out of service gas station and Dean discovers he's been bled so much he can't bleed enough to give Sam what he needs. They're also running out of food and water.
>> THE BIPEDS/MONSTER AMBUSH [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester/Leonard McCoy] - After the incident at the gas station, Dean keeps driving, but they run out of gas in a smaller town, in some kind of canyon. Monsters come crawling out and attack the Prius. Dean takes one out but gets partially eaten by the monsters before the Prius's car alarm temporarily sends the monsters scattering like Tusken Raiders. Leonard McCoy (Star Trek TOS) happens to be in the same area, holed up as One Bad Mother. He investigates and in a fit of badass, pulls Sam and then Dean into safer ground.
>> THE GOOD DOCTOR [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester/Leonard McCoy] - They're inside the hotel, temporarily safe from the biped aliens. McCoy tries to help Dean and gets strange readings saying he should be dead. Showing a typical lack of tact, Dean manhandles McCoy to Sam and forces him to help him first. McCoy then attempts to treat Dean and asks what kind of alien he is. Dean tries to hedge but apparently getting turned into a proto-demon through Landels means he forgot how awesome his lying skills used to be: the best he comes up with is he's a Loups Garou, hoping it's more obscure than "demon". Dean reigns in his homicidal urges because they need the doctor alive to help Sam.
>> RECOVERY [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester/Leonard McCoy] - Thanks to McCoy's help, Sam's on his way to healing from the gunshot wound. He's fully conscious this time around, Dean's trying not to get all pathetically happy, and he hems around the details of the ambush as he makes a report to his brother. They're still in shit creek though without a car and with the biped "monsters" (McCoy's aliens) outside. Dean hunts down McCoy to insist ask nicely for him to check on Sam after Sam's no kill order.
>> DESTINATION CALIFORNIA [Sam Winchester/Dean Winchester] - Sam has a kind of mid-life crisis post-apocalypse crisis about the way they've been drifting. They have their first real conversation in months, almost like regular people. Dean finally admits to Sam he wants to go to California. In progress.
