She was breathing rather heavily herself, her cheeks flushed a lovely shade of red. She smiled at him sheepishly, giggling and resting her forehead on his.
"Ne, w-we are ..." She then flushed just a little more, exhaling once more.
Miku gasped softly at the kiss to the neck; ooo, that was a different feeling, there. She liked it, oddly enough. She rested her head against the side of his, smiling contentedly.
Miku's eyes widened at that feeling; it was .. something she'd never been accustomed to, because it didn't happen to her often. And though it was just a little awkward ... Miku found the increase in her mechanical heart rate was rather pleasant.
She trembled a little ... and placed another kiss to his lips, pulling back to whisper a quick 'It's okay,' before kissing him again.
Miku gasped a little into the kiss as she felt his hand begin to move, wrapping her arms around his neck and pulling herself just a little closer. She liked this. She couldn't explain why she did, but she really did.
Kaito's tongue moved out to lick at her lips, becoming more daring with the moment of his hands, as they cupped one of her - admittedly small - breasts.
Miku let out a small squeaking noise at the sudden cupping of her breast, inadvertently parting her lips to his tongue as she squeaked. She wanted to do something with her own hands, but she really wasn't sure what to do ...
Miku almost didn't realize it herself, until, surprised, she broke off the kiss, blinking a few times at Kaito, cheeks still very much flushed from the amount of kissing and contact they'd been engaged in.
Curious, a trembling hand reached down and gently touched whatever it was that was poking her.
Miku's eyes met his, and she remained quiet for several moments, before nodding a little in response.
"A-Ah .. I .. I do love you, Kaito .." And she smiled, cheeks still flushed. She didn't understand a lot of this, what they were doing with all of the physical contact. But out of everything she wasn't certain of, however, that was the one thing she knew for sure.
"I love you a lot," She said quietly, taking his hand and putting it over where any normal human's heart would have been beating.
"With all my heart," she finished.
And she truly felt that. She couldn't have been more sure of it.
"Ne, w-we are ..." She then flushed just a little more, exhaling once more.
"I .. I like kissing you, Kaito."

Yes, it was corny. But then, he was Kaito, and everything he knew about romance came from fluffy romance comics.

He locked eyes with her.

He smiled at her, letting him feel the beat of her mechanical heart. Then, he took her hand, and placed it in the same spot on his body.
"... I feel the same way," he whispered. "Miku... will... will you let me be with you? I-In the way that two people can be together closest?"
Again, corny. But he meant every word of it.
