So, the ECW show wasn't all the spectacular. A couple of good matches and good seats, but that's about it; not sure if it was worth the $25 ticket and the $20 on gas. This is why I said I wanted to go to the Raw show at Hampton Beach; oh well.
But, what was fun was having dinner with Ernie, Kate, and Grover at a restaurant that I couldn't find; and, hanging out with Dave, Kerri, kate, and Ernie afterwards. If anything, it was worth it for that.
Also, I bought some 70 wrestling tapes from Grover. Didn't think I was going to buy that many, he was just like, here - have some tapes. Naturally, I offered him some cash and he accepted. There goes my paycheck for the week and I've only had it for a couple of days.
I now have some tapes of pretty much every territory: Mid-South, WWWF, WWA, WWC, WCW, Mid-Atlantic, LA, Georgia, and a bunch of others. Not to mention wrestling tapes of Japan and Germany, plus a bunch of old school stuff dating back to the '30s with Ed "Strangler" Lewis. A lot of the stuff is 60s-80s WWWF and 70s territories. I've already watched some MSG (Madison Square Garden (WWWF)) from June of 1963, and am watching some 70s Mid-Atlantic now. Of course, the Mid-Atlantic stuff is purely research. ;)
I'm working crap hours this week:
Sunday 5-9:30
Monday: 5-9
Tuesday: 5-9
Wednesday: 1:30-10
Thursday: off

Anyone available? ...And want to watch hours-upon-hours of wrestling? OK, no wrestling ,but anyone available?
Dani-girl, if you're available this week, would you like to hang-out at all? I haven't seen you all summer. I'd IM you, but I only ever see Carmen online; and, I'd feeling weird IMing her, and I'm not ure what your personal e-mail or number is, because for some reason I always forgot to ask.
Everyone! For once I am available this week. Catch me while you can before I get long and scrwy hours in the deli..
Keep rockin' the free world.
