A VERY brief summary (because I think the larger summary from moviefone.com gives too much away):
In Hayao Miyazaki's ('Spirited Away', 'Castle In the Sky', 'Princess Mononoke') latest animated adventure, Sophie (Emily Mortimer), an average teenage girl working in a hat shop, finds her life thrown into turmoil when she is literally swept off her feet by a handsome but mysterious wizard named Howl (Christian Bale). Other voice talent includes Billy Crystal, Lauren Bacall, Jean Simmons, and Josh Hutcherson.
Anyway, I'm SUPER EXCITED to see this film, and if you're like, 'Man, I've heard this Miyazaki guy is awesome, and makes movies about strong female characters and courageous kids while also offering meaningful (but not cheesy) messages of understanding/respect/tolerance and environmentalism,' then I'd say 'You're totally right. He makes awesome animated films, and you should come see it with us.'
In other words--the more the merrier.
