Don't fool yourself.
Sure barley wine might look like beer. . . might taste like beer (the best beer you've ever tasted, especially that Gnarley stuff) . . . but you cannot drink it like beer. It's called WINE for a reason. Though you may try to fool yourself by saying that 12% alcohol content won't kick your ass, it will AND IT WILL HURT, like, painfully, you lightweight drinker you.
