Now might not really be the best time for me to be caring about the feminist politics of poledance. We're drawing to the end of an incredibly close election, there are some very, very serious issues that require extensive consideration and debate.

*They* seem to have confused common sense with boundaries.
The *intent* is not sexual titilation. Yet it is also not really your fault if they all got their nipples in a twist watching. Requesting a "family friendly" outfit is acceptable, as an extention of a dress code, even on an ad hoc basis (I may not "like it", but it is a show, & there is a braoder consideration).

~waving arm vaguely up & around a bit~ it's that whole personal responsibility thing. Sexual energy is not inherently Wrong. With all this "poledance isn't sexual" good golly goshing who are they trying to convince? Cos, it is. Legs akimbo, trusting about, doing that wiggly hip thing, yeah, seen that somewhere else. Is it because they don't want to have to add a warning to the flyers "May result in masturbation"?

I get what they think they mean, this twoo nature of poledance, but to align feminism with a lack of sexuality is not going to win my vote. To try to convince me that *dance* is not sexual is twoddle. Physicality can be sexual, to deny that is ignorant, or worse, Tory
